First of all go to the official website https://pmsuryaghar.gov.in and select Apply for Rooftop Solar.
Now select your state and name of electricity distribution company. Then enter your electricity consumer number, mobile number and email.
After this, login on the new page by entering consumer number and mobile.
When the form opens, apply for rooftop solar panels as per the guidelines given in it.
After completing this process, you will get feasibility approval, after which you will be able to get the plant installed from any vendor registered with your DISCOM.
After solar panel installation, in the next step you will have to apply for net meter along with plant details.
After the net meter is installed, after verification by DISCOM, a commissioning certificate will be issued to you from the portal, which will mean that you have now applied under this scheme. But to avail subsidy you will have to upload a document. After issuance of the certificate, bank account details and canceled check will have to be submitted on the portal. After this the subsidy will be sent to your bank account
